KIDDING!
I am not knitting knickers. I’m not knitting and it’s not a pair of knickers. But that’s what it looks like, right?!
It’s a crocheted shawl, you reader of lowbrow garment reference. Int it lovely? That’s Mmmmmalabrigo sock in Abril, and Knitpicks Palette in Something (finally using the Knitpicks Palette. Finally!). The pattern is half a granny square and is amazingly effective. I’m going to stripe the two yarns throughout and just crochet mindlessly on until I have something big, glamorous and purple to wrap around me. Cannot wait.

I like it! Can’t wait to see it finished.
Me too!
Wow. That’s gorgeous!
Thanks Mairead
Gorgeous colours and gorgeous yarn. Just right for ya so!
Yeah, LOVE the colours!
Big, glamorous and purple – sounds and looks glorious!
And stripey, like the one of yours in blue and green that I loved so much!
The colors are indeed beautiful! It looks very promising!
I love the Abril, who knew it would look like that using crochet stitches. You are slowly expanding my horizons. First crochet, now spinning (honestly Cathy also helped) can’t wait to see what you blog about next.
